🌍 Switching Marketplaces and Groups

Need to view your data from a different Amazon Marketplace or a custom Group of accounts? Switching is quick and flexible.

Here’s how to do it—and why you might want to use Groups to supercharge your reporting.

🧭 How To Switch Marketplaces or Groups

• Go to the Dashboard screen.
• In the top-left corner, click the Marketplace/Group Selector.

🧩 A panel will slide out showing all your available Marketplaces and Groups

🧩 Groups are easy to spot. Below the Group name :

• They have a link to Edit Group Details beneath the group name.
• They show a list of the marketplace countries participating in the group.
• The group name is preceded by an image depicting six blue dots.

🧩Marketplaces are easy to differentiate too:

• They have a link to Edit Marketplace Details
• They show the seller ID below the marketplace name
• The display the flag of  the marketplace’s country

Click on the Marketplace or Group you want to view. The Dashboard will reload with:

• The correct account or group data
• In the currency assigned to that entity (see below)

The currently selected marketplace/group is identified by a blue radio button next to its marketplace/group name

💱 How Currency Works

• Individual Marketplaces use their native currency by default (e.g., USD for Amazon.com, GBP for Amazon.co.uk).
• Groups use the default currency you chose when creating the group.

Need to change the currency shown?

You can:

• Use the Currency Selector next to the Marketplace selector (temporary change)
• Or edit the Group settings to assign a new default currency (permanent change)

🧠 What’s the Universal Switcher?

SellerLegend introduced a universal switcher that works the same on every screen:

• Whether you’re on a dashboard or a table view, switching marketplaces works the same.
• Groups can now include marketplaces with different native currencies.
• SellerLegend will automatically convert all figures to your selected base currency.

🌍 Why Use Groups Instead of Just Marketplaces?

• Example groups:
  • North America: US, CA, MX (in USD)
  • Europe: DE, FR, IT, ES, NL, UK (in GBP)
  • Australasia: JP, AU (in JPY)

✅ To streamline workflows

• Bookmark Marketplace combinations you frequently switch between.
• Assign a default currency to each Group to save time.

💡 Tips & Things to Know

• Groups and Marketplaces use the same switcher.
• A Group behaves like a super-marketplace.
• Groups are not available on the Product Dashboard because that dashboard is SKU-specific and doesn’t support cross-marketplace aggregation.
