Stranded Inventory Screen

How To Get Here?

From the Main Menu bar at the top of the page:
Click on Inventory → Click on Stranded Inventory

What Is It For?

Stranded inventory refers to items physically stored at Amazon fulfillment centers that cannot be sold because their associated listings are inactive, incomplete, or missing. This screen helps you identify:

  • Which units are stranded
  • Why they are stranded
  • What action is required to resolve the issue

This inventory will not be fulfilled even if customer orders are placed — effectively locking up potential revenue.

Common Causes:

  • Listing was deleted or suppressed
  • ASIN mismatch or removed from Amazon catalog
  • Missing SKU or fulfillment details
  • Account or listing compliance issues (e.g. brand gating, missing attributes)

Hints And Tips!

  • Amazon notifies you via Seller Central when stranded inventory is detected.
  • If you don’t resolve the issue within 30 days, the inventory becomes unsellable and must be removed or disposed of.
  • Use this screen to monitor and act on stranded units proactively, avoiding unnecessary removal fees or lost stock.
  • All column headers are sortable

⚠️ Important: This report reflects real-time stranded inventory data directly pulled from the Amazon SP-API (getStrandedInventorySupply endpoint). We do not alter or enrich this data.

  Stranded Inventory Unfulfillable Inventory

  • Filters and Omni-Search can be used to find stranded SKUs by ASIN, tags, brand, status, or resolution type.
